Privacy Policy

Plain language. Last updated November 6, 2026.

This Privacy Policy explains how Calculate My Raise (calculatemyraise.com), operated by DK New Media, LLC (“we,” “us”), handles information when you visit or use the calculator.

No account, no sign-up

You can use the calculator without creating an account or giving us your name, email, or other contact details.

Your calculator entries

When you calculate, the numbers you enter (pay, pay period, change, hours, raise year, and locations) are sent to our calculation service, a Cloudflare Worker, only so it can compute your results. We do not store your pay figures or other entries on our servers. Like any web service, our hosting provider Cloudflare may briefly process standard request data such as IP address and browser type to deliver and secure the site.

Saved in your browser

Your latest entries are saved only in your browser’s local storage so the form can be refilled when you return. They stay on your device, and you can remove them by clearing this site’s data in your browser. The “Download PDF” is created entirely in your browser; your results are not uploaded to make it.

Cookies and device data

We use Google Tag Manager to load measurement and advertising tags. These tags, and the Google services they load, may set cookies or use similar technologies and may collect standard device and browser information, such as IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring site, and approximate location. Our calculator does not send your pay figures or other entries to analytics or advertising tools.

Google advertising

We may advertise this site with Google Ads and may use Google advertising cookies and Google Ads conversion tracking and remarketing tags, served through Google Tag Manager. Conversion tracking helps us understand whether our ads lead to visits. Remarketing lets Google and other vendors show our ads to people who have visited this site, on other websites across the internet. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites.

Your choices and opt-out

Visitors in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland

Where the law requires it, Google advertising cookies and the use of personal data for ads personalization rely on your consent. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we will ask for your consent through a consent notice before using Google advertising cookies, remarketing, or ads personalization for your visit, and you can withdraw consent at any time through that notice, by clearing this site’s cookies, or by using the choices above. You may also have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data and to object to its use; contact us below.

Public data we store

To power the inflation and cost-of-living adjustments, we store public government price indexes only: the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers (CPI-U) and U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis Regional Price Parities. These contain no information about you.

Children

This site is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
