You can use the calculator without signing up, logging in, or giving us your name or email.
Your entries
When you calculate, the numbers you enter are sent to our calculation service (a Cloudflare Worker) so it can produce your results. We use them only to return those results. We do not store your pay figures or other calculator entries on our servers.
Saved in your browser
Your latest entries are saved only in your own browser’s local storage, so the form can be filled back in when you return. They stay on your device. Clearing your site data, using private browsing, or switching to another browser or device will forget them.
Analytics and advertising
We use Google Tag Manager to understand general site usage, such as page visits, and may use Google Ads measurement or remarketing tags. Google may set cookies or collect standard device and browser information under its own policies. Our calculator does not send your pay figures or other entries to analytics or advertising tools. Public data we do store
To power the inflation and cost-of-living adjustments, we store public government price data: the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers (CPI-U) and the U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis Regional Price Parities. Sources are cited beneath each result. These agencies do not endorse this site or its calculations.
